Now, if you gravitate to the philosophy that “less is more,” then you’re going to love what Son Ye-jin has to say about her daily skincare routine. A minimal, fuss-free approach to skincare hits the sweet spot for the Crash Landing on You actress, who prefers using fewer steps to hydrate her naturally oily skin. “It’s impossible to do 10 steps,” Son Ye-jin said in an interview with Her World. “I think it depends on the person’s skin type. If you have very dry skin, even if you give a lot of nourishment, it might still be dry. So perhaps for those people, they need to do all 10 steps. But in my case, having too many steps is too much. I prefer something simple, around one to two steps.” This regimen is also known as the “skincare diet.” It breaks down a complex 10-step routine to only the essential products that address what your skin truly needs. Keeping it simple has been working wonders for Son Ye-jin, as we can tell from her flawless, bare-faced glow on Instagram. Truly, South Korea’s beloved “Queen of Melodrama” hasn’t aged one bit.
Using retinol is a marathon, not a sprint. It stimulates collagen but can irritate. Start using it once per week, over a moisturizer. —Joshua Zeichner
If your skin is red and irritated, you’ll want to soothe it right away. Prolonged inflammation can cause your skin to break down collagen. And the loss of collagen leads to the appearance of lines, wrinkles and even thinning of the skin. To keep your skin smooth and vibrant, you can use natures skin soother – Aloe Vera. Aloe Vera gel has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and healing properties, and it penetrates the skin easily to provide nourishment. It acts as a barrier for the skin, while allowing your skin to replenish its moisture. And because it’s high in nutrients and vitamins, Aloe Vera gel can also help your skin heal quicker. It’s terrific for soothing skin that’s been overexposed to the sun, as well as for treating minor cuts and scrapes, eczema, and acne. Aloe is a great moisturizer, and is perfect for oily skin because it nourishes without leaving your skin feeling greasy. Aloe Vera also has anti-aging properties. Its composition of antioxidants such as beta carotene, vitamin C and vitamin E help boost your skin’s natural firmness, while keeping it properly hydrated. In most stores, the aloe you’ll find contains preservatives, fillers, and artificial ingredients. Instead of using products with unnecessary and harmful ingredients, look for pure aloe from your local health food store, or buy an aloe plant and simply slice open a leaf, extracting and saving the gel, for when you need it. The Spa Dr.’s Daily Essentials contains aloe, as well.
Your skin contains a mixture of skin cells and natural oils that help it stay hydrated. If your skin is damaged (from aging, sun exposure, harsh chemicals, some medicines, etc.) and isn’t able to retain moisture, or if your skin’s cell renewal process goes haywire, your skin can become dry, flaky, or scaly. If you don’t have a condition that requires a medical provider’s care, and you’d like to avoid over-the-counter products that may or may not work… you can always naturally hydrate dry skin – and add an extra glow to the end of your skin care routine – by creating an antioxidant-rich oil blend using natural pomegranate, sweet almond oil and raspberry oils. Pomegranate oil has anti-aging properties due to a high amount of Vitamin C, and it can help in the production of collagen. Almond oil is mild and hypoallergenic which makes it great for sensitive skin. It’s also rich in Vitamin E, an antioxidant that helps your skin cells regenerate faster. And raspberry seed oil is rich in ellegic acid and Vitamin E which have anti-aging effects and help prevent oxidative damage. When combined, these three oils make an incredible moisturizer that softens your skin. How to create a pomegranate, raspberry, and sweet almond oil blend: Apply after cleansing or after putting on makeup. Mix together equal parts Pomegranate seed oil, Raspberry seed oil, and Sweet Almond Oil, or get the already made The Spa Dr. Glow Boost. Place 3 to 6 drops of the oil mixture in the palm of your hand, rub your hands together to warm the oils. Then, with your fingertips gently press the warm oil into dry areas of your face or areas where you have fine lines and wrinkles.

Eating healthy is equally important to Stefani, and it shows. The star follows a mostly plant-based, vegan diet. She began following a vegetarian diet at age 12. And as the star has been gushing over her longtime boyfriend Blake Shelton, it's fair to say that Stefani might have a little love glow on top of it all. Regardless, she looks incredible, and we bet her 50th year will be just as amazing for her as ever. This content is imported from Instagram. For dry skin, nothing works better than curd. Thats what my grandma and mother say. Ditch those soaps, use stale curd to clean and nourish your skin. This can be applied on your face as well. For oily skin, count on raw milk as your best friend. You can use it while bathing once a week. Do not apply any moisturizer after that.
